Hi, I am Rebecca Wise.

I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Birmingham-Southern College and a Masters of Education from Samford University. My passion for photography developed as a child watching my grandfather develop film and grew as he taught me the art of using an SLR camera as a teenager. In college, I purchased my first SLR camera and a love affair began.  

After moving into digital photography in my twenties, I began, as many women do, by photographing my first child. From there, I started reading everything I could get my hands on about the art of digital photography, as well as taking classes at Samford University on the side. My background in education helps me connect and interact with children of all ages, as well as my other full time job, taking care of my three precious boys.

My philosophy as a natural light photographer is to capture an ordinary moment and turn it into a beautifully constructed photograph that you and your family will cherish.
